Wednesdays in the Word

Sunday, we heard a wonderful sermon on the power of our words and how they effect our friendships, faith and future. Our pastor shared a really neat thing that his wife did.

She went to a craft store and bought wax apples. Then she spray painted them gold and put them in a silver bowl on their coffee table to be a reminder that:

"A word fitly spoken
is like apples of gold in settings of silver."
Proverbs 25:11
Isn't that a great idea?! I love it.
But, I guess their two Labs thought they looked good enough to eat... I just might do this and hope that Honey doesn't get the same idea.
