Slow Cooking Thursday
Today, I am sharing a delicious stew! My family loves this! I always double it, and you may want to too. I serve it in bowls with mash potatoes on top. Yum!
Beef and Bean Stew
1 lb. boneless beef
1 15 oz. can chili beans
4 med. onions
2 cloves of garlic
1/8 of vegetable oil
1 tsp. honey
1 1/4 cups of beef broth
1 tsp. thyme
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. pepper
Cut beef into one inch pieces. Heat oil in large saucepan or dutch oven, add meat and garlic and saute until meat is browned. Add onions, beans, honey, beef broth, thyme, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Cook on low for 6 hrs.
