Wednesdays in the Word

These excerpts from the book of James remind me of what's in the news lately:

"Your riches are corrupted..."
"You have heaped up treasure in the last days..."
"You have lived on the earth in pleasure and luxury: You have fattened your hearts as in the day of slaughter."

No matter what happens with W*ll St., the economy or the election:

"My heart will rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord. Because He has dealt bountifully with me." Psalm 13:5-6

~If you belong to Him than you know He's been EVER SO bountiful to you. Amen? : )

And:

"You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand." James 5:8

~Isn't THAT is a glorious thing?! : )
