"Your greatest contribution to the Kingdom of God may not be something you do, but someone you raise." ~Andy Stanley

We actually did it again!

Amazingly enough, we actually left a good man behind again!!!
Oh. My. Goodness.
There must be something about having our two families getting together and going for pizza that makes for a crazy combination. ; )
And if you are one of our kiddos and you enter a restroom at about that time, then you are likely to be left behind!!! Ahhhh!

We all headed out the door of our house and got into two minivans and didn't realize one of the cousins wasn't with us until we were at the restaurant and it was time to order!!!
It's a really good thing that we are WAY past the toddler years. ha ha

So, we've been faithfully counting heads ever since! : ) Goodness gracious.

Wahahah! We have left kids at church twice and left our 6 year old at the zoo once. There was a huge family group visiting...lots of kids, lots of adults. We were moving through an exhibit, looking at everything. She must have fallen behind but we didn't realize it until we were on our way to the car. We ran back to find her, frantically, of course, and found her in a corner, crying. Talk about feeling like a failure as a parent! It's 4 years later and it still gives me chills. (And she will be "bragging" about the experience her whole life.)
