Olive plants and eggnog

I wanted a new festive picture for my sidebar so it took a little eggnog bribery to get the 'olive plants around our table' in Christmas colored shirts.

They are cute, aren't they? And speaking of eggnog, we are eggnog connoisseurs. ; )

We gave Promised*Land Eggnog a try because Nathan heard about it in his Sunday school class and I couldn't pass up one that had Isaiah 9:6 on it!

It was mighty edifying and tasty. : )

"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulder and His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

~Becky -who would love to hear which brand is your favorite...

Your olive plants are getting bigger. Healthy growth!! And yes ... they are delightful!

I am not an eggnog fan but the Butler drinks a little every season. I usually serve it up after our Christmas Eve service when we all gather to eat cookies and visit with friends.

You oldest olive plants looks soooo excited to be in that picture! That's the same look my 14 year old usually wears for pictures. If we dare let the camera fall below our waist, he translates the movement as, "The pictures are done!" and he is gone, never to be seen again until he is sure the photo session is over. :-) But this is such a cute picture!
