Wednesdays in the Word

After reading Mark 4:3-9 my prayer for my kiddos has been that they 'Go Deep in Jesus!' -Meaning that their hearts would be 'good ground' with depth.
"Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow. And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside and the birds of the air came and devoured it. Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up it was scorched, and because it had no root it withered away. And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirty fold, some sixty, and some a hundred."
May they "Remember now (their) Creator in the days of (their) youth before the difficult days come..." Ecc. 12:1 So that the sun won't scorch the Word with the sizzling hot trials that life brings and that it can't be withered away for lack of a good root system.
May they live for Jesus no matter what!
May "they yield a crop" (themselves)
and then "spring up and increase and produce 30, 60 or 100 fold" in Jesus' name!!! Amen!
May they 'Go deep' now, while they are young!' : )

This is great in our Sunday school class we just did these same verses and had a discussion. Then at the end of the class the leaders gave all of us 20.00 and told us to go plant our seed. I haven't done mine yet but I think I will tomorrow.
