A four wheeled blessing

We recently bought a new (to us) mini van.

We needed one a little larger for our long legged boys and ours had 192,ooo miles on it. Every time we went somewhere some little feature seemed to break or fall off of it. : )

This van is nicer than anything we hoped for and we were blessed with a great deal.

It has all these fun 'bells and whistles' that we have never had before..Like a little tape recorder thingy on the visor where I can leave myself a 30 second message. I guess I'll record things like 'Don't forget the milk and butter when you get to the store!" ~I don't know. But it will be fun.
It also remembers where I have my seat and mirrors when I drive it and where my hubby has them when he drives it. ~It's really wild to have everything move in place when you push a button. And since I'm a lot shorter than my hubby they do a lot of moving!!!

My excitement doesn't even compare to the excitement of our youngest kiddos though.
They could hardly concentrate on school the first morning after we brought it home.

They kept asking me if they could sit in the car to do their school. They said "Its much quieter in the car than in the house." (I'll have to remember that next time I want to talk on the phone!) : )
And then I heard this and it was too cute:
"Don't leave the car door open or you'll let out the new car smell."

~I don't think a car that is 8 yrs. old could possibly have a 'new car smell' but it must smell new to them.
Or at least not like our dog, which is what our other van smelled like. ha ha
