This was so weird. Poor Zach.
He was studying Spanish the other day and the word was "la rata" and there was a cute picture of a rat...
And then he looked out our window and SAW two REAL rats running across our back yard! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How creepy is that?! Not to mention, I thought those things slept during the day!
Talk about weird timing! They were big too. (I ended up seeing one.) UGH!!!!!!!!!!
Then he spent some time lying in wait on the trampoline with an air soft gun and a BB gun! ; )~But, no luck! So, guess who bought rat poison today?!
My hubby and I are going to be the teen coordinators for the home school group this year! We are excited about it. Tonight we are having a teen game night and we hope to find out what kinds of things they would like our group to do next year...
We are going to play some volleyball (which we call tree-ball since we have some major branches in the way) and I'm just hoping that a "la rata" doesn't appear or I may be the one wanting to crawl under my house. ; )

-who needs a "la cata!" (and who doesn't speak Spanish)
