I love this!
"Cease to do evil,
Learn to do good,
Seek justice,
Rebuke the oppressor;
Defend the fatherless;
Plead for the widow."
Isaiah 1:17
And I would love it if someday this could be said of me:
Becky ceased to do evil,
Learned to do good,
Sought justice,
Rebuked the oppressor;
Defended the fatherless,
Pleaded for widows.'
How awesome would that be?!
Especially since Psalm 63 tells us that God, Himself
is "A father of the fatherless and a defender of widows."
I'm not sure how to go about it yet, but I would love to care more, for who He cares so much about.
